Amarr
Garage Doors and Openers
Amarr's wind rated steel doors are built for Southern weather, and the Stratford Collection is one of our most requested lines statewide. We stock reinforcement struts for added storm protection across Alabama's Dixie Alley corridor.
About Amarr
Amarr was established in 1951 by brothers Abe, Morris, and Herb Brenner in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, starting as a local building supply company before pivoting to garage doors. Amarr questions
Are Amarr doors wind rated for Alabama storms?
Select Amarr doors, including the Classica Collection, are available with wind load rated packages engineered to Alabama building code requirements, and reinforcement struts are available on the Stratford line for added storm protection.
What colors does Amarr offer?
Amarr's Stratford Collection is available in multiple colors including white, almond, sandstone, and desert tan. Call for the full color and window option list.
How do the Amarr Stratford and Classica collections differ?
The Stratford Collection is the straightforward steel line, covered by the manufacturer's own limited lifetime warranty. The Classica Collection is a premium carriage house design with superior insulation. Manufacturer warranty terms vary by model, and we hand you the exact terms with your quote.
Who stands behind a Amarr installation?
We do. We install and service all major brands and door types. We buy doors, openers and parts directly from manufacturers and factory sources, carry the common parts on the truck so most repairs are done on the spot, and back what we install with our parts and labor warranty. Manufacturer warranty terms vary by model, and we hand you the exact terms with your quote.
